How The Season 25 ‘DWTS’ Teams Prepared For Week 7 Halloween Night
The ballroom is about to become a much scarier place on “Dancing With The Stars,” as the Season 25 teams not only face another potential elimination, but spooky Halloween themed dances as well.
Week 7 will also be a scarier one for the teams because for the first time, they will have to perform two routines in one night, as the competition will also add the team dances to the lineup. The scores they receive for these Halloween themed dances could be make or break for some of the remaining teams, as they all start to officially gear up for even more grueling weeks ahead.
So how did the teams prepare for this big night of competition? Here’s how they spent the weekend rehearsing:
Team STARK
Prior to suffering an injury that could mean the end of their run in the competition, Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas were hard at work on both their individual routine and their team dance. In one post to Instagram, Lindsey acknowledged that it had been a grueling week, but admitted that time spent working with Mark was always worth it, because their friendship has made all the work worth it.
In addition, she also shared a post from their Team Dance rehearsal (they’re on Team Monster Mash), which featured them practicing with Cheryl Burke and Terrell Owens.
Team Getcha Popcorn
Cheryl Burke and Terrell Owens were in the Halloween spirit as they prepared for their dance this week. Cheryl showed fans they were preparing to give out “only treats” with their dance with a cute rehearsal photo.
Meanwhile, Terrell shared a quick video peek at Team Monster Mash’s dance, showing Jrodan Fisher, Nikki Bella, himself, Lindsey, Mark Lindsay Arnold and Artem Chigvintsev as they worked to perfect the routine.
Team Smackdown
Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev got into the spirit of their Halloween themed routine on Instagram, as they posed for a photo on Nikki’s social media, which saw her wearing a witch’s hat, while Artem innocently held a potion in his hands.
Team Franney Pack
Despite low scores in Week 6, Witney Carson and Frankie Muniz seemed to still be in good spirits during their rehearsal, with the pro dancer sharing a photo of the pair smiling together as they rehearsed.
Meanwhile, Frankie also took to social media to share his excitement over the team dances, which will see him team up with Drew Scott, Vanessa Lachey and Victoria Arlen as part of team Phantom of the Ballroom.
Team ViVa
While Victoria Arlen and Val Chmerkovskiy didn’t share too much in terms of what to look forward to with their individual dance, they did take to social media to share some peeks at their team dance. Victoria showed off the elaborate dance costume the women are likely all sporting for their routine in a photo, complete with a candelabra in hand and a mask partially obscuring her face.
Val meanwhile, shared a group photo which showed the four teams posing together during a rehearsal.
Neither Jordan Fisher or Lindsay Arnold, Vanessa Lachey or Maks Chmerkovskiy, or Drew Scott or Emma Slater took to social media to give a behind-the-scenes look at their own routines over the weekend, so fans will need to wait until the show airs for a look at Team Fish Upon A Star, Tream babies and Ballroom and Team Hot Property’s routines.
“Dancing With the Stars” airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
