HTC One X9 Rumors: Stunning Renders, Key Specs, Teaser Leaked
After getting certified by TENAA in November, the HTC One X9 is back in news with a slew of impressive renders and configuration details.
The images of HTC One X9 attached above and below have been sourced from a Weibo update. According to Times News UK citing TENAA, the device will come with a 5.5-inches IPS display and 1,920 × 1,080 pixels Full HD resolution.
Under the hood, the X9 is believed to come powered by an octa-core processor, running at 2.2 GHz. The latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset is rumored to be part of the device.
The smartphone will reportedly come backed by a modest 2 GB of RAM and will carry 16 GB of native storage space. A microSD card slot with expansion capacity of up to 1 TB has also been tipped.
When it comes to camera specification, the HTC One X9 will apparently sport a cool 13-megapixel rear-facing sensor, in addition to a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper for selfies. HTC is expected to offer the handset in Silver and Gray hues.
Furthermore, a good-enough 3,000 mAh battery unit will back the handset. All major connectivity options like Bluetooth, USB, GPS, GSM, TD-SCDMA, TD-LTE, 4G LTE FDD and WCDMA will be supported by the X9. Speaking of size, the thickness and weight of the handset will reportedly be 7.99 mm and 174 g, respectively. In any case, readers are advised to take the reported HTC One X9 specifications with the proverbial pinch of salt as the company has not confirmed any information so far.
On a related note, HTC recently teased an unnamed device with the following tag line -- “What’s next after A9.” It is worth noting that the HTC One A9 is a hit among holiday shoppers as the device comes packed with cutting-edge configurations, sleek design and an affordable price tag. Not to forget, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. Having cracked the success formula with A9, many tech portals are unanimously stating that, HTC One X9 is the mystery device teased by the Taiwanese tech giant.
