Two huge snakes were captured after they were found fighting in the front yard of a home in Queensland, Australia, on Wednesday.

Stuart Mackenzie, from the Sunshine Coast Snake Catcher 24/7, wrote on Facebook that he responded to a home after receiving a call that "two big carpet pythons fighting it out in their front lawn."

A video posted on the Facebook page showed the two 10-feet-long reptiles "trying to push each other’s heads down." Mackenzie then captures the reptiles with his bare hands and places them in bags. He asserts in the video that the reptiles were definitely "fighting and not mating."

They were released into the bushes.

"The occupant was worried about kids and small pets so we relocated them to some nearby bushland! A lot of people believe this is snakes mating, however it is in fact how male snakes fight it out over a nearby female," he wrote on Facebook.

The video has since gone viral and shared over 220 times.

"I promise one day when I can get footage of snakes mating, I will do a comparison video for you to show the difference!" the Facebook post said.

McKenzie regularly posts rescue videos on the Facebook page. Last week, he posted a video of a baby carpet python sitting on the air conditioner right above a couple’s bed. In the video, he was seen removing the reptile with his bare hands and releasing it into a "nice patch of bush."

"People often ask can snakes get inside even if the doors and windows are closed and have no gaps. Well the answer is yes snakes have other ways they can get in but it doesnt happen very often. This mornings callout was a perfect example. This little Carpet Python made his way in through the Aircon pipe hole in the wall. He then decided to sit on top of the Aircon and watch the couple sleep. This gorgeous little snake was taken back out and relocated into a nice patch of bush," the Facebook post read.
