Hugh Jackman’s wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, has broken her silence on the rumors swirling around regarding the actor’s sexuality and revealed that the tabloid reports about the Oscar-nominated actor are “all made up.”

During her appearance on Australian TV show “Anh’s Brush With Fame,” the 64-year-old actress-turned-producer called out certain media publications for their “mean-spirited” reports about Jackman’s sexuality.

“I see [some of] these magazines and they’re so mean-spirited. I hope people do not buy these magazines and realize that it is all made up,” the “Angel Baby” star said during the interview.

Furness also joked that the “Logan” actor has been gay “for years” now and people were shocked when they tied the knot in 1996.

“He’s (Jackman) been gay for so many years. I was gay, too, when I did ‘Shame' (1998 film). They were shocked when I got married,” she said.

The actress also commented on how “wrong” it is to spread false information about someone’s sexuality. She feels it’s similar to telling Elton John that he is “straight.”

“It’s just wrong. It’s like someone saying to Elton John that he is straight. I am sure, he would be pissed. He’s not straight,” Furness said during the interview.

Jackman also addressed the rumors about his sexuality in 2013. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the “Prisoners” star revealed that the speculation did take its toll on his wife and blamed the internet for all the false information that is being spread around.

“Just recently, it bugs her. She goes: ‘It's big. It's everywhere!’” Jackman told THR.

The couple met each other while working on an Australian TV show titled “Correlli.” They dated for one year and tied the knot in 1996.

Jackman and Furness adopted son Oscar and daughter Eva after suffering fertility problems.

“It was painful. It’s not easy. You put a lot of time and effort into it, so it’s emotional. I think any parent can relate – trying to have children is wonderful and when you feel as though that’s not going to happen, there’s a certain anxiety that goes with it. From the moment we started the adoption process, all the anxiety went away,” Jackman told The Herald Sun in 2011.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Jackman will be seen next in Michael Mann’s movie “Enzo Ferrari.” The movie is based on the life story of Italian sports car entrepreneur Enzo Ferrari.
