'I Am Cait': Caitlyn Jenner Gets Asked Out On A Date By Her Crush Candis Cayne In New Clip

Things appear to be heating up between Caitlyn Jenner and Candis Cayne. In earlier episodes of "I Am Cait," the former Olympian admitted that she found Candis, 44, attractive. At the time, however, she claimed she wasn't ready to date. Fast forward just a few episodes and it seems she may have changed her mind.

According to E! Online, their friendship may be headed in a new direction. A newly released clip from the series shows Caitlyn, 65, heading over to Candis' home for a little girl time. Shortly after her arrival she and her close gal pal find themselves wrapped up in a conversation about dating, similar to the one that played out on Season 1, episode 3. During their chat, Candis suggests that it may be time for Caitlyn to "spread your wings," and asks her on a date.

"Like if somebody walked up to you who was beautiful and I was like, 'Would you like to go out on a date sometime?' What would you say?" Candis asked.

As previously reported, Caitlyn has been open about the fact that she finds Candis attractive. At the time, however, she said she had "absolutely no idea" about what the future would hold for them. During Season 1, episode 2 Caitlyn's friend attempted to push her to sport sexy swimwear in front of Candis in the hopes that it would spark something between the two. But being new to the trans world, Caitlyn had reservations about pursuing their relationship any further.

Caitlyn has been open about the fact that she believes she is strictly attracted to women, as that's what she's always been attracted to. She has not ruled out dating men, but has said she isn't ready quite yet. Caitlyn previously said she wants to put that off until after her gender reassignment surgery, which will be the last thing she does in her transition.
