Iggy Azalea Says She Didn’t Know About Keonna Green’s Alleged Pregnancy, Explains Why She Left Nick Young

In a series of tweets Thursday, Iggy Azalea set a few rumors straight, denying that she broke up with Los Angeles Lakers player Nick Young because his baby mama is allegedly pregnant with his second child. In fact, Azalea claims she had no idea her former fiancé’s ex, Keonna Green, was expecting because he never told her.

“People in this world really are f----- up,” she tweeted. “This is just like a second shot to the chest. And I feel like I don’t even know who the hell it is I’ve been loving all this time.” Her tweets continued:

According to Life & Style magazine, Green is supposedly four months pregnant, and Young is the father. The pair are already parents to Nick, Jr., 4. Even though the “Work” rapper is denying she knew about the pregnancy, sources told the outlet that Young did tell her he was going to be a dad again. “Nick waited until Keonna was four months pregnant to tell Iggy the news,” the source said. “He said it was a one-night stand and will never happen again. But it’s too late. He is having another son!”

The source went on to say that the rapper had no problem with Young being friends with Green, but he “took advantage” of her trust. “Iggy seemed to blow everything off,” the source said, adding that Green’s pregnancy is “something she can’t ignore, and it ruined their future together.”

In an Instagram post last week, Azalea announced that she and the 31-year-old athlete had split because of trust issues. “Unfortunately, although I love Nick and have tried to rebuild my trust in him — it’s become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to. I genuinely wish Nick the best. It’s never easy to part ways with the person you planned you’re entire future with, but futures can be rewritten, and as of today mine is a blank page.”

The pair’s breakup came a few months after a cheating scandal when one of Young’s teammates, D’Angelo Russell, secretly videotaped him admitting to cheating on the 26-year-old rapper. At the time, Azalea denied there were any issues in her and Young’s relationship because of the tape. “We’re good,” she said during an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” She added: “There isn’t [controversy] at home, just on the internet. We call them trolls. There’s just a lot of people who take great joy in saying really awful things to people, so I got a lot of that.”

During a radio interview on Tampa Bay’s the Orlando & The Freakshow, the rapper opened up about the tape again, telling the hosts that she let Young slide because she didn’t have actual proof that he was unfaithful. “I was like, just let me get some real evidence and you’re gonna lose half an inch [of your penis].”
