Libyan ruler Moammar Gadhafi has been on the run ever since he lost control over most part of the country to rebels. The civil war and the formation of the National Transitional Council are heralding the end of his 42-year autocratic rule.
Gadhafi's palaces and assets have been pillaged by the rebels and his family has taken refuge in Algeria. The rebels are furious at Algeria for sheltering his kin. They have demanded Algeria to send his family back to Libya.
Most of the countries have withdrawn political recognition to him. He is wanted by the International Criminal Court in The Hague on charges of war crimes.
Here is a peep into the assets of Gadhafi and his family.
