‘Incorporated’ Spoilers: Episode 6 Trailer Teases Laura’s Horrible Experience In The Red Zone

Laura’s (Allison Miller) traumatic experience in the Red Zone will be revealed in next week’s episode of “Incorporated.”

According to the synopsis for Season 1, episode 6, titled “Sweating the Assets,” Laura is going to “relive the harrowing events that forever changed her life and her bonds” with her mom, Elizabeth (Julia Ormond), and Spiga’s Head of Security, Julian (Dennis Haysbert). While the synopsis doesn’t specify what those “harrowing events” are, the trailer for the installment suggests that those are the things that happened during Laura’s last trip to the Red Zone.

The promo clip appears to show a series of flashback snippets in which Laura is kidnapped by a group from the other side of the wall, who seems to be demanding something from Spiga in return for her safety. A higher-up in the firm orders the dispatch of Spiga’s tactical team to rescue Laura, but for some reason, Elizabeth orders Julian to find her daughter before the company does.

In last night’s Season 1, episode 5, Laura invited Julian to their house to seek advice on how to deal with the episodes of trauma she’s been experiencing since the events that happened during her last trip to the Red Zone eight years ago.

“You’ve seen a lot of things in the war … in your job, but you don’t need therapy?” the plastic surgeon asked Julian.

“Well, doing it and needing it are two different things,” answered Julian.

When Laura asked him how he exactly deals with his painful life experiences, Julian replied: “I don’t … not really.”

Given the connection between the two characters in the scene, it won’t be a surprise if next week’s episode will reveal that Julian was the one who saved Laura from the Red Zone kidnappers.

Since episode 6 seems to focus on Laura’s backstory, the installment may also shed light on why she’s keeping distance from Elizabeth and why she appears to be blaming her mom for the death of her father.

Elsewhere in the upcoming episode, Ben (Sean Teale) and Theo (Eddie Ramos) consider their next move to save Elena (Denyse Tontz).

“Incorporated” Season 1, episode 6 airs on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017 at 10 p.m. EST on Syfy.
