Hawaii's North Shore has long been the go-to place for the world's surfers as they look to ride its celebrated and dangerous waves, but now it seems the renowned surfing area is attracting a different kind of show-off.
Eric Sterman filmed this video using his Chinese-built DJI quadcopter drone and a GoPro camera, getting far closer than any helicopter could and for a lot less money. The drone costs around $479, and the GoPro will cost anything from $199 to $399 depending on accessories.
