Here comes Fourth of July. Americans are all set to celebrate the 235th Independence Day with the usual zeal and, of course, cracking the fireworks.
The Fourth of July, or the day when the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence in 1776, is celebrated with fireworks and parades. Many of these traditions to celebrate the Fourth of July began in 1777, the first anniversary of the Declaration's adoption.
The day is also a federal holiday in the U.S. commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.
