Inside Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker's New Beach House Couple Bought For $14.5 Million

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are the proud new owners of a beautiful Santa Barbara, California beach house after splurging $14.5 million on the property.

On Tuesday, TMZ broke the news that the celebrity couple had just purchased a new place to call home from TV host Conan O'Brien, 59.

The comedian reportedly listed the property earlier this month and received an offer for the place a couple of weeks ago. Upon checking, the tabloid found out that Kardashian, 43, and Barker, 46, got the keys to O'Brien's former Carpinteria home.

Sources told the entertainment news outlet that the reality star and her musician husband got a sweet deal because they got the property for a lower price. O'Brien listed the pad for $16.5 million, and the couple was able to slash $2 million off of it.

Nevertheless, Conan was able to secure some profit from the sale since he originally bought the 2,142-square-foot property in 2015 for $7.9 million. He completely renovated the 2-bedroom house, but it's not clear how much he had spent on it.

As the new owners of the oceanfront property, the Poosh founder and the Blink-182 drummer can now enjoy a soundproofed balcony, a spacious deck with private stairs to the shore and a two-car garage with a Tesla charging station, as per Us Weekly.

The house comes with 3.5 bathrooms, an outdoor shower, a built-in BBQ and a storage space for surf and paddles.

Earlier this month, Kardashian opened up on Dear Media's "Not Skinny But Not Fat" podcast about living in a different house than her husband, saying they were in the process of getting a joint home soon.

They currently live in the same neighborhood in Calabasas, California with their kids from previous partners. The "Kardashians" star shares three kids with her ex Scott Disick, Mason, 12, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 7. Meanwhile, Barker also has three kids, Landon, 19, Alabama, 16, and former stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, 23.

Their decision to buy a house in Carpinteria might have been planned since the city has a sentimental value for them. Kourtney and Travis got engaged there.
