Can you imagine what a home was like for Meghan Markle before she got married to Prince Harry? Imagine no more because here is what Markle’s house was like before she officially became the Duchess of Sussex.

Take a peek of how Markle’s home looked like before she became Prince Harry’s wife in this video of the Breaking News below.

Markle used to live in Toronto, Canada with her pet dogs Guy and Bogart. The former “Suits” actress’ abode in the Canadian city that went on sale in the market and got sold for $ 1.6 million was a 2-storey townhouse, The Sun reported.

Stripped of its previous décor after the sale, it was rather fortunate that Markle shared snaps of the old home in her Instagram account. Prince Harry’s wife Her reported of having a glimpse of what it was like when the former “Suits” actress lived there.

Markle’s 3-bedroom home in Yarmouth Road, Seaton Village, Toronto reportedly reflected the sophisticated version of her. The stairs and furniture were white, the rug at the main entrance had pink stripes, glided mirrors and a lot — yes, a lot of flowers.

Prince Harry’s wife had also kept her collection of books in a color-coordinated manner. In the guest of Markle’s home, one would find a shelf with books placed from top to bottom according to colors red, black, green white and yellow.

Markle also considered a minimalistic approach to her bedroom. It was just a simple, white-covered bed with pillows, a bedside table with vase and twig-like décor in it, an estimated £520 watercolor painting by Inslee Fariss, a New York based artist and illustrator, and a huge mirror where the “Suits” actress took her selfies.

Markle’s monochromatic-designed living room, which was straight from the entrance, was openly connected to the dining area with floors covered by wood. Markle added plants and flowers to add color to the neutral ambience in the living room and dining room.

Markle also added cushions in her living room so her then-boyfriend Prince Harry, her guests and of course, her beloved dogs could comfortably relax. Since the now-Duchess of Sussex is fond of flowers, the dining table surrounded by white dining chairs of her then-Toronto home was reportedly never without a bunch of it.

Like every celebrity woman in Hollywood, Markle also had her collection of shoes and she had an entire shelving unit for her precious footwear collection, Hello Magazine reported. Her collection reportedly included heels from Christian Louboutin, Miu Miu and Sarah Flint.

Of course, it wouldn’t be such a cool home without its outdoor feature. Markle’s former house had a small back garden with central wooden decking area with seats and a BBQ griller.
