‘In/Spectre’ Season 2 Postponed To 2023 [Details]

Iwanaga Kotoko and Sakuragawa Kuro are returning to start a new adventure in "In/Spectre" Season 2. However, their return has been delayed.
The official website of the anime "In/Spectre" has confirmed that Season 2 will premiere in January 2023 instead of the originally scheduled October 2022.
The release date of the "In/Spectre" Season 2, Episode 1 will be unveiled at a later date on the official website and Twitter account of the anime.
Two new cast members are joining the existing cast in "In/Spectre" Season 2. Makoto Furukawa will be voicing Masayuki Muroi, a 32-year-old man who has lost faith in humanity, Anime News Network reported.
Aoi Yuki joins as Yuki-Onna, who is a snow woman spirit that resides on a mountain and is believed to have connections with Masayuki.
The cast from "In/Spectre" Season 1 anime includes Kenji Hamada as Detective Terada, Mayumi Sako as Rikka Sakuragawa, Misato Fukuen as Saki Yumihara, Sumire Uesaka as Karin Nanase, Akari Kito as Kotoko Iwanaga, Mamoru Miyano as Kuro Sakuragawa, Haruka Ominami as Bakeneko and Kouki Miyata as Nushi no Orochi.
“Iwanaga Kotoko became the god of wisdom to the supernatural beings and spends her days solving problems for them. However, the boy who she fell head over heels for, Sakuragawa Kuro, is someone that is feared by all supernatural creatures. The two of them face various mysterious incidents involving the supernatural in this love x romance x mystery series. Where will these fantastical incidents lead them and what will happen with Kotoko’s crush?” read the official "In/Spectre" anime synopsis, according to Crunchyroll.
The first season was directed by Keiji Gotoh while the series composition was handled by Noboru Takagi. The scripts were taken care of by Sachio Yanai, Aya Yoshinaga and Noboru Takagi.
The opening theme of Season 1, titled Mononoke in the Fiction, was performed by Uso to Chameleon while the ending theme song, LAST DANCE, was by Mamoru Miyano.
The storyboarding was by Haruka Kamohara, Haruto Ogawa, Keiji Gotoh and Shusei Morishita. Takatoshi Honda was credited for character designing and chief animation direction.
The anime is based on the original story by Kyo Shirodaira (Kodansha Taiga) and Chasiba Katase (Monthly Shonen Magazine and Shonen Magazine R).
Season 1 of "In/Spectre" anime debuted in January 2020. The anime is a Crunchyroll Originals.
