Apple’s iPhone 11 now has an official debut date: Sept. 10.

The Cupertino giant has already sent invitations to members of the press, informing about the company’s next big product launch. Apple is set to unveil its latest gadgets and services on the date at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, California.

Apple analysts and fans will finally get a glimpse of what’s shaping up to be a controversial iPhone as the triple-camera system at the back of the new phone seems like a done deal already. The feature, despite its powerful capabilities, has been deemed a bane to the Cupertino firm because of its less-than-flattering setup. The triple-lens system is enclosed in a large and obtrusive square camera bump that many have bluntly described as “ugly.”

Not only that, the design of the new phone is hardly anything to be excited about since it is just a continuation of last year’s design. CNET reported that this is already the third year that Apple used the same look on its expensive device.

Expect three new models to make an appearance next month: the iPhone 11, 11 Max/11 Pro and the 11R. As mentioned earlier, the triple-camera system is quite impressive despite the setup. It is reported to have a 12MP wide-angle lens along with the 12MP main lens, plus a telephoto lens on the iPhone XS range. The flash is also expected to be brighter and will even have a “smart frame” function that aims to adjust distorted photos using extra image details taken using other camera lenses.

The iPhone 11 will also have a faster processor and a new logic board setup that can accommodate a bigger and better battery. The new battery is expected to improve battery life by as much as 30 percent. It will also be launched with the new iOS 13 that’s expected to complement the device’s power-saving functions.

Aside from the iPhone 11, we can also expect either the Apple Watch Series 5 or a higher version of the Apple Watch Series 4. The Cupertino group is also likely to officially drop the Apple TV Plus along with other services. The iPad Pro 2019, on the other hand, might not be introduced during the September event as some have speculated but expect it to be released before the year ends or by the first quarter next year.
