The shipping estimate for Apple’s new iPhone 4S indicates that customers who pre-ordered the new smartphone can expect their devices to be shipped from one to two weeks.

The launch day stock of iPhone 4S is sold out and the only other possibility for customers is to wait in the long queues in front of Apple Stores.

Apple and U.S. carrier partners AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Wireless all began accepting preorders for the iPhone 4S at 12:01AM Pacific time on Friday.

According to AT&T, it has received more than 200,000 preorders within the smartphone's first 12 hours of pre-availability. Sprint and Verizon Wireless have not indicated how many preorders were placed for the device through their Web sites.

The 16GB model costs $199, the 32GB model costs $299, and the 64GB model costs $399. The iPhone 4S has a dual-core 1GHz A5 processor, 8 megapixel camera with autofocus, Siri personal assistant, and iOS 5.

The phone itself will only be available on Oct. 14, in the U.S., Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan.
