Want to customize that iPhone? Here's how to get 1,300 free fonts for the Apple-branded device.

There are many ways to customize an iPhone. Users can simply buy a protective case, use certain wallpapers, choose different ringtones (and assign specific ringtones to certain people), and so on. Those who want to take the iPhone customization further can simply change the fonts used on the device.

Those who are looking to change the fonts on their iPhone have the option to get 1,300 different fonts for free via Adobe's Creative Cloud, LifeHacker reported. Those who download the Creative Cloud app from the App Store and install it on their iPhones will be able to use these fonts for free.

Creative Cloud allows users to choose from a huge library of font styles, then download and install them on the iPhone and iPad to use them. These fonts can be used for key iOS apps like Mail, Pages and Keynote.

To use the new font in Mail, for example, users will need to launch the Mail app once the font has been downloaded, then tap on the angle bracket “<” located at the top right side of the page. This should be followed by a tap on the “Aa” icon that appears. Users will then be presented a list of available fonts, which will include the newly installed font.

The new fonts that can be downloaded only via the Creative Cloud app can be installed and used in an iOS 13 app that supports custom font APIs.

Users who download a lot of fonts won't be penalized, of course; those who install some fonts and then forget that they did can look them up by going to the iPhone's Settings app, then proceed to General, followed by Fonts. Installed fonts can be used in certain apps, and they can also be uninstalled and deleted if they're not being used and only take up space.

Adobe said that 1,700 fonts are free for those who have the Creative Cloud app on their iPhones. Those who are subscribed to the Creative Cloud plan, on the other hand, have 17,000 fonts at their disposal. iPhones running on iOS 13.1 and newer can also take advantage of Creative Cloud's support for Dark Mode, the ability to create hand-drawn annotations, and more.
