iPhone X On Virgin, Boost Mobile: Smartphone Pre-Orders Start In November
Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile announced on Friday they will carry the iPhone X and will start taking orders in November.
The announcement comes as major U.S. carriers, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint, began taking pre-orders for the iPhone X on Friday at 12 a.m. PDT. Now, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile, which are part of Sprint's Prepaid Group, will start offering the new device.

Boost Mobile customers will be able to pre-order the iPhone X on Nov. 10 at BoostMobile.com. The company said taxes and fees will be included in the plan.
“Boost Mobile strives to provide its customers with the latest and greatest mobile phones, and iPhone X is Apple’s most advanced yet,” Boost Mobile Chief Marketing Officer Angela Rittgers said in a statement. “The new features and functionality of iPhone X are incredible and we can’t wait to get them into the hands of our customers.”
iPhone X With Virgin Mobile
Virgin will start taking pre-orders for the iPhone X on Nov. 3, when the device is released online and at retail stores. Virgin mobile customers can order the iPhone X as VirginMobileUSA.com. The company says the device will start shipping on Nov. 10.
“Apple always delivers when announcing a new iPhone, and iPhone X includes amazing new features and enhancements,” Virgin Mobile CEO Dow Draper said in a statement. “Members of the Inner Circle by Virgin Mobile are going to love having the best, most advanced iPhone ever while enjoying unlimited talk, text and high-speed data for only $50 per month [...]”
Virgin Mobile had previously said the device would be available for pre-order on Oct. 27, however that date was pushed back.
iPhone X Shipping Dates
Customers who pre-ordered -- and who plan to pre-order --an iPhone X as of this morning on Apple.com will have to wait five to six weeks to get the device, Apple says on its site.
Apple said in a statement the customer demand for the iPhone X is "off the charts." Apple told International Business Times in a statement:
"We are thrilled to be taking orders for iPhone X, the future of the smartphone. We can see from the initial response, customer demand is off the charts. We’re working hard to get this revolutionary new product into the hands of every customer who wants one, as quickly as possible. We will keep accepting orders online, and iPhone X will be available at Apple retail stores on Friday, November 3 starting at 8 a.m., as well as from our carrier and retailer partners around the world. ”
iPhone X Price, Features
The 64GB iPhone X model is priced at $999, while the 256GB version is priced at $1,149 price. The device is available in Silver or Space Gray.
The iPhone X comes with the Face ID, a facial recognition technology used to unlock the device, make payments and with third-party apps. It also comes with wireless charging, an edge-to-edge Super Retina display with OLED technology and Animoji. It also includes a vertical dual-camera system and a glass front and back.
