Ivanka Trump’s Youngest Son Theodore James Kushner Takes First Baby Steps
Ivanka Trump does not shy away from posting videos and pictures of her three children. On Thursday, the first daughter shared a video on social media of her youngest son Theodore James Kushner taking his first steps.
Ivanka posted the video on her Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts. The caption read “Big night for baby Theodore. He took his first steps!”

The 35-year-old presidential adviser was seen wearing a purple, sleeveless floral dress. In the video, she was encouraging and holding Theodore as he tried to walk with a yellow toy in his hands. “Walk! Come on! Walk!” she was heard saying in the clip. The toddler fell twice but his mother picked him up and he tried walking again.
Theodore celebrated his first birthday March 27 and treated to spaghetti, which is reportedly a Kushner family tradition, and a homemade cake. Ivanka also posted a birth photo of her youngest child in her arms.
She captioned it: “One year ago today, little Theodore was born, expanding both our family and our hearts! This little boy is pure sunshine! Happy birthday baby boy!”
Theodore was born at a time when his grandfather, President Donald Trump was just over two months away from the Republican nomination for president. Theodore has been making frequent appearance on his mother’s Instagram. His first attempt at crawling was also captured at the White House.
He has two older siblings — 5-year-old sister Arabella Rose Kushner and 3-year-old brother brother Joseph Frederick Kushner.
On May 4, Ivanka received online backlash after she posted a video on Instagram of herself dancing with her two sons — two days after she launched her book “Women Who Work.” Several accused her of staging the video in a bid to promote the book. In the video, Ivanka is seen dancing with Joseph and Theodore. Part of the caption read: “Little moments matter, especially for working moms!! #TBT to an after-work dance party with my boys.”
Along with the video, she also posted a link to a magazine article, which contained the motherhood experiences she wrote about in “Women Who Work.” Prior to the release of the book, Ivanka said she would not be overly promoting her book because of ethics guidelines in her new role at Washington, D.C.
“In light of government ethics rules, I want to be clear that this book is a personal project. I wrote it at a different time in my life, from the perspective of an executive and an entrepreneur, and the manuscript was completed before the election last November. Out of an abundance of caution and to avoid the appearance of using my official role to promote the book, I will not publicize the book through a promotional tour or media appearances,” Ivanka wrote in Facebook post April 21.
Ivanka moved to the capital from New York City earlier this year after her husband Jared Kushner was appointed senior adviser to President Trump. The couple moved into the posh neighborhood of Kalorama, where other high-profile people, including former President Barack Obama live.
