‘iZombie’ Season 3 Star Rahul Kohli Turns 31: See Rose McIver And Aly Michalka’s Birthday Greetings [PHOTOS]
Happy birthday, Rahul Kohli!
Kohli, who plays Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti on “iZombie,” turned 31 on Sunday, Nov. 13, and as expected, some of his “iZombie” family took to social media to send their birthday greetings.
Rose McIver, who portrays Liv Moore on the CW series, shared an “earnest” black and white photo of Kohli on Instagram, while Aly Michalka — Kohli’s romantic interest (Peyton Charles) on the rom-com-zom-dram — posted a couple of pictures of them together.
“iZombie” creator Rob Thomas also didn’t forget to greet Kohli. In fact, he even encouraged his followers to send their birthday greetings to the London native. “If you enjoy @RahulKohli13 as much as I clearly do, wish him happy birthday today as I am doing now. #iZOMBIE,” Thomas wrote on Twitter.
Although Robert Buckley didn’t greet the birthday boy on social media, Kohli revealed in an Instagram post that his co-star, who plays Major Lilywhite on the series, gave him football tickets to the Liverpool vs. Arsenal match that was scheduled on March 4, 2017 as a gift.
In another Instagram post, Kohli thanked everyone who greeted him on his special day.
Rahul’s “iZombie” character, meanwhile, has a lot on his plate in the upcoming Season 3 of the series. When not working on the zombie cure, Ravi will be spending his time dealing with the love triangle between him, Peyton and Blaine (David Anders). “This triangle exists and continues to exist this season," Michalka said during the show’s San Diego Comic-Con panel in July.
A person from Ravi’s past will also further complicate his Season 3 storyline. Thomas revealed at Comic-Con that the woman who fired Ravi from the CDC will make an appearance next installment.
In addition, Thomas revealed to Entertainment Weekly in August that Ravi will stumble upon a recipe in Season 3 that makes “zombie visions more vivid and longer lasting.”
“iZombie” Season 3 will debut at midseason on The CW.
