‘iZombie’ Star Rahul Kohli Wraps Filming ‘Supergirl,’ Shares Photos With Melissa Benoist And Katie McGrath
Rahul Kohli has finished filming his part in Season 2, episode 18 of “Supergirl.”
Kohli, who is best known for his role as Ravi on “iZombie,” revealed on Twitter that he wrapped filming for the superhero series on Saturday morning. In a tweet, Kohli thanked the cast and crew of “Supergirl” and gave director Armen V. Kevorkian a special shout-out. The English actor also shared a few pictures with his co-stars Melissa Benoist and Katie McGrath from his last day on set. See the photos below:

As previously reported, Kohli will guest star as Jack Spheer, a charismatic tech genius who has spent decades working on a medical innovation that will potentially eradicate major illnesses. In his debut episode, Jack arrives in National City to talk about his invention to members of the press, including Kara (Benoist) and Snapper (Ian Gomez). Interestingly, Jack also happens to be Lena’s (McGrath) ex-lover, so his arrival reunites him with L-Corp’s CEO.
In the comics, Spheer’s invention transformed him into Biomax, a villain who had the power of mind control. It’s unclear, however, whether Kohli’s version of the character will have the same fate in the CW series.
During a press event last month, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed that episode 18 will also put the spotlight back on Kara as a journalist. “That’s actually been very important to us, especially in the times we now find ourselves living in; we’re one of the few shows on television that actually has a journalist as a lead character,” Kreisberg explained. “In … episode 18, we really get a chance to talk about the importance of journalism, and the importance of journalism ethics, and how important [it is to have] the objective truth be out there now.”
“Supergirl” Season 2, episode 18, titled “Ace Reporter,” airs on Monday, March 27 at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.
