Jada Pinkett Smith's HawthoRNe Dropped Abruptly After Third Season
HawthoRNe, the hospital drama starring Jada Pinkett Smith and and Marc Anthony, will end with a cliff hanger? Well not many of us had thought so. After three seasons, the TNT series has been canceled. Earlier this year, the network had also dropped Men of a Certain Age.
Pinket confirmed the news on her WhoSay page on Friday.
Hey everyone...if you don't know Hawthorne will not be returning for another season, Pinket, 39, wrote. I want to say thank you to all the fans for being Hawthorne soldiers...All our Facebook fans...twitter soldiers and viewers...you held us down. Of course you know there is more to come...believe it!
The series gave TNT the opportunity to work with many outstanding people, including Jada Pinkett Smith and the rest of the show's talented cast, crew, producers and writers. We wish everyone involved with 'HawthoRNe' nothing but the best, Access Hollywood quoted TNT sources as saying.
Last week, rumors of an affair between Marc Anthony and Pinkett had sparked, which Pinket plainly denied, and Marc Anthony called it laughable.
Well after Marc Anthony recently split with wife Jeniffer Lo ending their seven year marriage, family sources were reported saying that Pinkett Smith went out of her way to help Anthony out, which apparently was not appreciated by J-lo, a US Weekly report said.
