Jamie Foxx Holds Hands With Singer Amid Katie Holmes Break Up Rumors

Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have reportedly tried to keep their relationship private, but after the actor was spotted holding hands with an up and coming singer, it appears the couple may be on a break.

Holmes reportedly began dating Foxx in 2013, following her 2012 divorce with Tom Cruise. Although the couple initially hid their romance from the public, cameras caught the two on a PDA filled outing in 2017.

Since then, Holmes and Foxx appeared to be less concerned about covering up their romance. However, the 51-year-old was recently spotted leaving a Hollywood hotspot with a woman who was not his girlfriend.

According to TMZ, Foxx was photographed holding hands with Sela Vave as he left Bootsy Bellows in the early hours of Saturday morning. Foxx led Vave to his car, and the two drove off together. The outlet reported that Vave is a singer and model, who the “Robin Hood” actor may be mentoring.

In June, Vave appeared to praise Foxx in a photo she shared of the two on Instagram. “I am so grateful to this man! Thank you so much @iamjamiefoxx for everything you do and for believing in me. #feelingblessed,” she wrote.

While the extent of their relationship is unknown, their close encounter appeared to fuel break up rumors between Foxx and Holmes. The couple appeared to go public with their romance in May when the posed together at the Met Gala. However, the two haven’t been photographed together much since then.

Following their Met appearance, a source told E! News Foxx and Holmes were done hiding their relationship. “They are feeling more comfortable about being out in public together and not having to hide,” the insider explained.

“They still don’t want to have a public relationship, but it was a lot of effort to keep things under wraps, and never be able to go out together. The burden of that has been lifted, and they are feeling a lot more free to just go out and do normal things.”

Although a source previously claimed Holmes and Foxx “don’t see themselves as a couple in the traditional sense,” it is unclear whether the pair is has split, or if the “Django” star’s outing with Vave is a part of their casual arrangement.
