For those wondering why Jamie Lynn Spears hasn't spoken out amid the recent fan concern for her sister, Britney Spears, the reason is simple -- it's not her place.

On Tuesday, the "Zoey 101" alum shared a few tweets from celebrities who were speaking out about the complexities that come with having and/or dealing with mental illness.

While most people who interacted with the Instagram post praised Jamie for spreading awareness, she also received some negative feedback from a critic who seemed to view her as hypocritical since she hasn't publically spoken out about the #FreeBritney movement, which has fans concerned for Britney's mental well-being while under conservatorship since 2008.

"How about your sister’s OBVIOUS mental illness? Why don’t you speak on that?" the user questioned to which, the 29-year-old actress clapped back, "You have no right to assume anything about my sister."

"I have NO right to speak about HER health and personal matters," she continued. "She is a strong, [expletive], unstoppable woman, and that’s the only thing that is OBVIOUS."

According to People, when another critic pressed Jamie to "speak out and clarify all these assumptions" about her pop star sister, Jamie further explained, "I would never speak out just to clarify things to the public, when the person it pertains to does not want that to happen."

"I'd rather take all the hate, then speak about someone elses [sic] personal matter, that they want to keep private," she shared.

Not only was Jamie's post made amid the reemergence of the #FreeBritney movement, but it also came after rapper Kanye West went on a Twitter rant that caused many to become concerned about that state of his mental health.

In the since-deleted rant, the Yeezy designer fired off multiple accusations against his wife, Kim Kardashian, and her mother Kris Jenner, before promoting the release of his new album.

"DONDA coming this Friday," he wrote.
