Jana Duggar Spills The Beans On Jinger Duggar, Says Sister Didn’t Want To Go On Family Trip
Jinger Duggar’s family previously admitted her love for Jeremy Vuolo has changed her, and the changes were noticeable on Tuesday’s “Jill & Jessa: Counting On.”
In Season 2, episode 2 of the TLC series, several of the older Duggar children decided to take a road trip from their native Arkansas to Missouri for a survival class. While Jinger was seen packing up and leaving with her brothers and sisters, Jana Duggar made it clear her sister had resistance about going on the outing.
“Jinger is probably the main one that really is not wanting to go on this trip,” Jana said as Jinger was seen packing her favorite accessory: a pillow wrapped in Jeremy’s old soccer jersey. Joy-Anna Duggar added that her siblings Jill Dillard and Jessa Seewald were noticeably “sappy” when they entered into courtships but that Jinger has “topped them all.”
While Jinger admitted she’s more a city girl compared to her sisters, it was revealed her biggest fear was not being able to contact Jeremy on the trip. While in the RV en route to the camp, Jinger made one final FaceTime call to Jeremy. (He was unable to join the family as he had just returned home to Laredo, Texas, after making their courtship official).
“If we were to get there and find out there’s no cell phone reception I think that I would just have to figure out a way to send a smoke signal up or something. Have somebody come rescue us,” Jinger told the cameras.
Thankfully for the newly courting couple, upon arriving to the base Jinger revealed with a smile that she did have cell service. Joy-Anna responded by telling her sibling she could have one hour a day to talk to Jeremy.
Prior to Jeremy’s leave, the pastor joined Jinger and her family for a meal after announcing their courtship. During the episode, the couple also discussed their lack of specific courtship rules, Jinger saying not all courting rules are “cookie cutter.”
Jinger and Jeremy are, as most fans are aware, already engaged. The couple has not yet set a wedding date but do plan to move to Texas after tying the knot.
“Jill & Jessa: Counting On” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EDT on TLC.
