Jana Kramer 'Heartbroken, Distraught' Over Mike Caussin Split, No Plans To Reconcile: Report

Jana Kramer is "pretty heartbroken and distraught" but wants to end her relationship with Mike Caussin for good, according to a report.

Kramer announced her split from Caussin in an emotional post on Instagram and has filed for divorce from the ex-NFL player. While this is not the first time for the couple to separate, the country singer has no plans to take him back this time around, an insider told Us Weekly.

"This time she’s said it’s over for good," the source said. "She wouldn’t have filed for divorce if she wasn’t serious about it."

Despite their split, the exes are committed to prioritizing their children: daughter Jolie, 5, and son Jace, 2.

"Their kids are still pretty young and wouldn’t fully understand if they told them they’re separating," the insider added. "They want to make sure their kids are raised as normal as possible despite their parents no longer living together."

According to a separate insider, Kramer and Caussin's friends were shocked to hear that she'd filed for divorce because they had witnessed their efforts to make their marriage work over the years. However, it has been reported that the split came after Caussin cheated on her again.

"Nobody, not Jana or the couples' close circle, could have imagined that Mike would once again break her trust," the source told E! News.

Kramer was allegedly blindsided because she thought that everything in their marriage was fine, and they had been attending couple’s counseling, an unnamed source told Us Weekly. When Kramer underwent a breast augmentation procedure weeks prior, the former NFL star also helped “take care of her post-surgery” and looked after their kids, the source added.

"She didn’t know behind the scenes that he was continuously lying and cheating on her," the insider said. "Jana’s final straw came when she uncovered once again that [Mike] had cheated on her."

Kramer and Caussin married in 2015. However, they separated a year later after he was involved in multiple affairs. He underwent treatment for sex addiction, and they renewed their vows in 2017.
