'Jane The Virgin' Season 2 Trailer: Jane Chooses Between Michael And Rafael

Season 2 of the hit series “Jane The Virgin” is gearing up for the premiere episode, which airs on Oct. 12. The CW has released the trailer for the first episode and it appears that Jane will be making a big decision. [Warning: Spoiler Alert]

In the video, main protagonist Jane Gloriana Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) is seen standing between her two love interests. Michael Cordero (Brett Dier) and Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni) appear to be asking her to choose which of them she wants to be with.

Michael is her ex-fiance, who never stopped loving her. They became closer again after her relationship with Rafael went on the rocks towards the end of Season 1. He has been trying to get back together with Jane, but Rafael has always been in the way.

Rafael is Jane’s baby daddy and also Jane’s boss. She fell in love with him while they were figuring out the baby situation. However, the pressure of keeping his hotel business afloat, having a scheming ex-wife, a crazy sister and a murderous stepmother, has put a strain on Rafael’s ability to be in a relationship with Jane.

In Season 2, it appears that both men will finally demand a final decision from Jane. It was reported earlier that Jane will be getting married this season and it remains to be seen who will be the lucky groom.

Speaking of weddings, the trailer also shows Xiomara (Andrea Navedo), Jane’s mom, finally admitting that she and Rogelio dela Vega (Jaime Camil), got married in Las Vegas. Rogelio is Jane’s biological father, and this should be great news, except for the fact that Xiomara and Rogelio were not together at the time of the wedding and neither were they sober.

All this and more quick twists are to be expected when the hilarious new season of “Jane the Virgin” returns on Oct. 12. The series airs at 9:00 p.m. EDT on The CW.
