‘Jane The Virgin’ Season 3 Spoilers: Rogelio's Breakup With Dina Will Have ‘Ramifications’

It’s clear Rogelio Dela Vega (Jamie Camil) and Xo Villanueva (Andrea Navedo) still have strong feelings for one another, but because of their opposing views regarding parenthood, they were forced to split up.

Rogelio then started a new relationship with telenovela writer Dina Milagro (Judy Reyes), but he quickly realized that his feelings for her are not enough.

“After he had that big dance with Xo at the wedding and realized they still have these really strong feelings, he doesn’t feel like it’s fair to bring Dina along if that’s not how he’s feeling about her,” executive producer Jennie Urman told TV Line. “So they have a break up, which maybe didn’t happen in the way that Dina thought was respectful, and we’re going to see some of the ramifications of that.”

Rogelio might not be getting back together with Xo just yet, so for the meantime, he enlists the help of Darcy Factor.

Factor is a professional matchmaker who will be played by “The Queen of the South” actress Justina Machado, according to Deadline. She is described as “an all-business brassy, formidable and likes-to-be-in-control matchmaker whom Rogelio goes to see about finding a woman.”

Darcy is very protective of her female clientele, so she enforces strict rules about her dating services. But, Rogelio being Rogelio, he breaks a couple of her rules right away. Darcy couldn’t resist the telenovela star and gives him another chance or two, until later coming up with an interesting proposition.

As for Xo, she won’t be loveless this season as well. She will reportedly be wooed by a former flame played by “Desperate Housewives” alum Ricardo Chavira. Chavira’s character dated Xo when he was still married, but things might have headed south for their marriage.
