‘Jane The Virgin’ Star Gina Rodriguez Pens Sweet Tribute To Joe LoCicero

“Jane the Virgin” star Gina Rodriguez recently greeted her boyfriend, Joe LoCicero, on his birthday.

On her Twitter account, the actress posted a photo of LoCicero riding an elephant. Rodriguez called her boyfriend her “absolute favorite person” and “king” in the short caption.

Last month, Rodriguez also celebrated her birthday and commemorated it by uploading a sexy photo of herself wearing a bikini. In the same month, the award-winning actress shared a snap of her and LoCicero and revealed that they are both Leos.

According to People, Rodriguez and LoCicero have been dating for about a year. In February, they celebrated their sixth month anniversary, and Rodriguez greeted her boyfriend by posting their photo at the SAG Awards red carpet on her Twitter account.

Meanwhile, Rodriguez recently spoke with Bust magazine where she opened up about seeing LoCicero at a boxing gym months after he appeared in “Jane the Virgin.” “The second time I saw him, I didn’t recognize who he was. He came in through the door and I was like, ‘Good God!’ and I fell into his eyeballs. On the fourth day that we saw each other at the gym, he asked me out, and I have been dating him ever since. Now I know what it means to date your best friend,” she said.

Earlier this year, Rodriguez also spoke with Entertainment Tonight and revealed how much fun she and LoCicero typically have. In fact, the two are very open with each other about everything, and LoCicero even showed support for Rodriguez when she fangirled over actor Brad Pitt.

“When I was talking to my boyfriend about it, he was like, ‘It’s like you met the male Beyoncé.’ I was like, ‘Thank you.’ That’s why I love my boyfriend. He’s so awesome. He’s so incredible,” she said.

Rodriguez plays the role of Jane in The CW’s “Jane the Virgin.” LoCicero appeared in the series as an impersonator slash stripper named Don Quixote. The character made an appearance in “Chapter Thirty-Nine.”

“Jane the Virgin” Season 4 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 13 at 9 p.m. EST.
