“Jane the Virgin” star Justin Baldoni has decided to branch out!

According to Variety, he will be producing and moderating a male-themed talk show titled “The Men’s Room.” The show will serve as a week-long panel discussion about what it means to become a man in the world today. Some of the topics that will be covered include marriage, relationships, fitness and fatherhood. In every episode, there will be five men invited to form the panel. They will be the ones to open up about the hot topics from their points of view.

Baldoni released a statement regarding his upcoming venture (via TV Line) and said that “The Men’s Room” could serve as a viewer’s alternative to shows like “The View.” “We want to challenge men to open up and be OK talking to each other, and more importantly, form deep and meaningful relationships. We will probably get our fair share of negative feedback, but we think that’s a good thing,” he said.

Episodes of “The Men’s Room” will be shot in a trendy restaurant in Los Angeles, and production is expected to kick off sometime next month. “The Men’s Room” still has no official network as of now. Baldoni’s production company, Wayfarer Entertainment, will be funding the pilot episode first. The company will also be financing some episodes for the summer before they shop for a home network. Baldoni and his team are eyeing a premium digital platform to co-produce “The Men’s Room.”

Meanwhile, Baldoni is currently connected with The CW as one of the regular cast members of “Jane the Virgin.” In the series, he plays the role of Rafael Solano, the father of Jane Villanueva’s (Gina Rodriguez) son, Mateo (Joseph Sanders). Rafael also happens to be the father of Petra’s (Yael Grobglas) twin girls. “Jane the Virgin” Season 4 will premiere on The CW sometime in October.

The actor also serves as a producer for The CW’s docuseries, “My Last Days,” under Wayfarer Ent. He co-founded the company and acts as CEO for the production arm that is known for providing meaningful and inspirational content to its viewers.
