Japan Quake: Regions where tsuanmi alert has been issued
Japan Meteorological Agency reported that an earthquake measuring 7.4 magnitudes hit Japan's Miyagi-Ken Oki region at 23:32 JST.
The agency also issued a tsunami warning stating that tsunami waves could reach a height of up to 2 meters.
The regions which have been issued a tsunami warning are Pacific coast of Aomori prefecture, Fukushima Prefecture and Ibaraki Prefecture.
Tsunamis are expected to arrive imminently in Miyagi and Iwate Prefectures.
