Jason Momoa Celebrates His 42nd Birthday: 'Craziest Year to Date'
Jason Momoa took to Instagram on Saturday to share photos of him saying goodbye to the "last day of 41."
The "Game of Thrones" star, who turned 42 this Sunday, celebrated the occasion with his friend Brian Andrew Mendoza Saturday.
"Happy last day of 41," Momoa wrote in the caption. "BEST FRIEND @brianandrewmendoza made it happen."
"42 here we go the craziest year to date. all ALOHA to you and yours J. PS I can’t believe I have my own harley line," he added. "f--king awesome. mahalo @harleydavidson harley aloha shirt. dedicated to my grandmother. MABEL. chhheeeehuuuuuuuu."
In the photos, the "Aquaman" star looks extremely happy as he poses with his friend. The actor kept his long hair open like always and donned a dark brown and black shirt. He completed his look with a fancy necklace.
Former professional wrestler-turned-actor, Dave Bautista, liked the post on Instagram while many other celebs took to the comments section to bless the actor with birthday wishes.
Actress Cree Summer commented, "Happy Birthday Sweet Silverback _☠️ Sending Big Birthday Love To You Brother," while professional skateboarder Christian Hosoi wrote, "I need to buy some of that boss gear." YouTuber Arron Crascall wished, "Happy birthday sir."
Momoa's wife Lisa Bonet's ex-husband, Lenny Kravitz, also took to Instagram on Sunday to share a black and white photo of him and Momoa posing together.
"Happy Birthday, @prideofgypsies. I’m proud to call you my brother. One love. One family," he wrote in the caption.
Bonet has one daughter with her ex-husband Kravitz -- actress Zoë, 32, while she has two more kids with Momoa -- Lola Iolani, 14, and Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha, 12.
On the work front, Momoa will be next seen in Netflix's "Sweet Girl," slated to release on Aug. 20. The movie also stars Isabela Moner and is helmed by director Brian Mendoza.
The actor will also feature in the highly anticipated sci-fi adventure movie "Dune," scheduled to release on Oct. 21. The film stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson and Dave Bautista.
Momoa has also completed filming of "The Last Manhunt," which is inspired by 1969's movie "Tell Them Willie Boy is Here." However, the release date of the movie is not out yet.
The actor is currently filming the "Aquaman" sequel. However, many fans have threatened on social media to boycott the movie because of Amber Heard.
