Jenelle Evans 'Bullied' By ‘Teen Mom 2’ Co-Stars, Says Fans ‘Keep Me Alive’
Jenelle Evans was almost a no-show for MTV’s live “Teen Mom 2” after show on Tuesday night following the series’ Season 7 premiere. Just hours prior to the New York City taping, Jenelle told her Twitter followers should would not be attending the program. The 24-year-old reality star said her absence was due to her health and her desire not to associate with cast mates who she felt were bullying her.
Four hours after the fact, Jenelle posted a photo of her on the set of the “Teen Mom 2” show. The image showed her posing next to co-star Leah Messer. After sharing several behind-the-scenes shots from the event, Jenelle thanked her fans for their support. She also credited VH1 “Mob Wives” star Drita D'avanzo for inspiring her to attend the live show.
While it’s unclear why Jenelle accused her co-stars of bullying, the Ashley’s Reality Roundup may have some insight into her medical issue. The site reports that Jenelle delayed the “Teen Mom 2” after show taping in New York on Sunday after asking producers to call her an ambulance following “a night out.” The Ashley’s sources say production called Jenelle’s request “ridiculous” and her co-stars are said to have been “upset about the hassle she’s caused.” Jenelle was treated by a nurse on set.
Jenelle has made her health issues public knowledge in recent weeks. She appeared on “The Doctors” last month looking for a diagnosis for her ailments, which ranged from hot flashes, to anxiety and pelvic pain. Professionals on the talk show told Jenelle she was experiencing the symptoms because of a new birth control she was using. Doctors also said her increased anxiety was likely due to her decision to stop smoking marijuana. Jenelle updated fans on her condition three days after the episode aired, saying she had stopped talking the medication but had found no relief.
