Jenelle Evans Moves On From Nathan Griffith; ‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Says She’s ‘So Happy’ After Double Date

Nathan Griffith, who? On the latest installment of MTV’s “Teen Mom 2” Jenelle Evans was having a tough time getting over her failed relationship with fiancé Nathan Griffith. But it doesn’t appear she’s brokenhearted anymore. On Monday night the mom of two revealed to her fans that she was on a double date.

In an Instagram post, which Jenelle captioned “Double date,” she can be seen getting close to a mystery man. Later that evening Jenelle, 23, shared a picture of herself enjoying a female friend's companionship during the outing. “Trying to look cute for a selfie with her… But she doesn’t care…” Jenelle wrote.

While Nathan has yet to respond to the photos from his former fiancée's date night, Jenelle has made it clear she’s in a good place. She took to Twitter Tuesday to tell her followers she’s “so happy.”

So, just who is Jenelle’s potential new partner? Starcasm did some digging and found he's David Eason, a 27-year-old from Wilmington, North Carolina. David, like Jenelle, appears to have two children. (Jenelle has two sons. Jace, 6, is from a previous relationship and Kaiser, 1, whom she shares with Nathan.) According to David's recent Instagram posts he enjoys fishing, country music and sharing photos of food. He refers to himself as “single” in his account biography, though he hasn't updated his account in three weeks.

While Jenelle isn’t sharing much about her date, her fans may get some insight into her rumored ew beau in her upcoming memoir. The MTV star announced in April that she has been penning an autobiography about behind-the-scenes antics from “Teen Mom 2,” her life before MTV and her experiences at rehab. She reconfirmed her plans for the book earlier this month, telling OK! the project will also include old diary entries.

Jenelle’s new romance comes just over one month since announcing her official split from Nathan. After hinting Nathan had been unfaithful online — he has since shared he has a new girlfriend — Jenelle confirmed to Entertainment Tonight on Aug. 5 that she and her fiancé of seven months were splitting up. “I am not looking to date anyone at the moment,” she said. “I am focusing on myself.”
