Jenni ‘JWoww’ Farley, Roger Mathews Welcome A Baby Boy, Reveal His Adorable Name On Instagram
Congratulations are in order once more for Jenni “JWoww” Farley and husband Roger Mathews. The couple welcomed their second child — a baby boy — Thursday.
A representative for the former MTV reality star told Us Weekly the child was born at 6:03 p.m. EDT. Both the baby and the second-time mom were said to be doing well following the birth. JWoww’s rep said she and her hubby “couldn’t be happier.” Shortly after her rep’s confirmation, JWoww, 30, made an announcement of her own, sharing her son’s name with the world via Instagram. In a handwritten note, she revealed she and Roger decided to name their baby Greyson Valor Mathews. In the caption she opened up about his birth, revealing that her husband was able to partake in the delivery process.
Both JWoww and her husband have been anxiously awaiting Greyson’s arrival for quite some time now. On March 7, she tweeted about her preparations, revealing that she’d already put together her hospital bag. She shared the details with OK! Magazine, telling readers what items she couldn’t live without. She explained the importance of having everything you may ever need on hand for visits from friends and family in the hospital because “you want your newborn angel looking like perfection.” JWoww added that she planned to include a makeup kit of her own because the baby shouldn’t be the only one looking good in photos!
The couple announced the pregnancy in October 2015 during their wedding. The news came more than a year after the birth of their first child — a baby girl named Meilani Alexandra Mathews. In an interview with People magazine JWoww said their big day “was everything we could have dreamed of and more.” She struggled to pick a favorite moment but said surprising friends and family with their baby news was probably the best part. She later shared an Instagram from the moment, writing that it was “an amazing feeling” to surprise guests like that.
