Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt Kissing, Cuddling On Holiday Before Separation Announcement

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt were very sweet on New Year’s day before they announced their separation.

Pitt and Aniston got married in 2000 but divorced five years later. According to Mirror, the exes were photographed packing on PDA while enjoying the holiday at the Caribbean just days before they announced their split.

An eyewitness said that Pitt and Aniston were “all over each other” and appeared to be very happy while on the beach. They were accompanied by Aniston’s best friend Courteney Cox and her then-husband David Arquette.

“When [Brad and Jen] had dinner together on New Year’s Eve, his arm was around her the whole night,” Us Weekly editor Janice Min wrote. “On that last stroll [on the beach], he picked up a shell for her. It was always very sweet and romantic.”

However, the couple actually decided to separate before their pre-book trip. There were also claims that Pitt came clean about his feelings for Angelina Jolie during their vacation which left the “Murder Mystery” star furious. And so, she threw her then-husband out. On Jan. 7, Pitt and Aniston called their relatives before releasing a joint statement confirming that they had decided to part ways.

In their separation announcement, Pitt and Aniston said that their decision was a result of much consideration. They also stressed that they remain committed and caring friends.

However, shortly after that, Pitt was spotted frolicking on the beach with Jolie and her son Maddox. Aniston confessed that “the world was shocked, and I was shocked.”

In 2006, Aniston was asked about Jolie’s rumored pregnancy with her first child with Pitt. According to Leslie Bennetts, the “Cake” actress was emotional and was unable to speak. Aniston cried and shook her head hinting that the subject was too excruciating to discuss.

At present, Pitt and Aniston are romantically linked. There are even rumors that they will be spending Christmas together with Pitt’s kids. However, one should take the reports with a grain of salt since their reps said that they were never back together.
