Jennifer Aniston Gave Shocking Response When Asked About Her ‘Feud’ With Angelina Jolie

Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie are still being linked to each other years after their respective divorce from Brad Pitt.

But during Aniston’s interview with Entertainment Tonight five years ago, the actress seemingly begged everyone to stop pitting her against Jolie.

The “Friends” alum was asked to comment on Jolie’s latest project, “Unbroken.” Aniston praised Jolie for doing a gorgeous job, and she also called the film beautiful and wonderful.

Aniston also denied the allegations that she and Jolie avoided each other at the Critics’ Choice Awards.

The actress said that it’s time for fans to stop with the petty allegations and start celebrating great work. She also dubbed the rumors about her and Jolie’s feud as silly, tiresome, and old.

“I think that’s slowly coming to an end. I really do. It’s just tiresome and old. It’s like an old leather shoe. Let’s buy a new pair of shiny shoes,” Aniston said.

Since Aniston’s interview with ET took place just five years ago, the actress must have already moved on from Pitt at that time. But shortly after her divorce from her ex-husband, Aniston’s statements about Jolie were very different.

During her interview with Vogue in 2008, Aniston seemingly threw shade at Jolie for saying that she couldn’t wait to go to work every day because that’s where she will reunite with Pitt. The former couple starred in “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” while Pitt was still married to Aniston.

“There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening. I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss. That stuff about how she couldn't wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool,” she said.

As of late, Aniston and Pitt have already patched things up. The two also see each other every now and then. Pitt also attended Aniston’s 50^th birthday party earlier this year.
