Jennifer Aniston Nude Photo Being Auctioned Off For Coronavirus Relief

Jennifer Aniston is auctioning off a nude portrait of herself to help raise funds for coronavirus reliefs.

For those missing “Friends” since it aired its last season in 2014, Aniston is bringing those nostalgic feels back to the surface by selling an iconic photo of her character, all for a good cause.

A monochrome photo of Aniston was taken by famed photographer Mark Seliger in November 1995. This came after hairstylist Chris McMillan gave the actress a haircut that has long been known as “The Rachel.”

In collaboration with Red Carpet Advocacy (RAD) and Christie’s auction house, Seliger will be selling 26 photographs of some of the world’s biggest celebrities—one of which is the black and white portrait of Aniston posing nude with her legs crossed.

The 51-year-old actress took to Instagram on Monday (June 1) to announce the charity cause by sharing a video of Seliger working in a dark room with the classic and sultry photo of Aniston.

“My dear friend @markseliger teamed up with @radvocacy and @christiesinc to auction 25 of his portraits - including mine - for COVID-19 relief,” Aniston penned alongside the clip of the photographer.

“100 per cent of sales proceeds of this portrait will go to @NAFClinics, an organisation which provides free coronavirus testing and care nationwide to the medically underserved. Thank you again to Mark for allowing me to be part of this (sic),” she added.

Meanwhile, Seliger recalled the day he encountered and shot the actress for the first time. He shared that he was initially assigned to photograph the cast of “Friends” in 1995 — which was also the year the show skyrocketed to success.

“The first time I met Jennifer Aniston I knew she was going to be a big star. It was uncanny — you thought you knew her, or at least wished you knew her,” Seliger told Christie’s.

“Immediately after the shoot, I recommended Jennifer for the cover of 'Rolling Stone' magazine, which of course she got. Since then we’ve worked together many times — she’s incredibly loyal and still as lovely as the first time I met her.”

The auction, which ends on June 12, will also see 25 other images of noteworthy celebrities. Stars like Leonardo DiCaprio, Oprah Winfrey, Brad Pitt, Billie Eilish and Lenny Kravitz are featured among the many auctioned images.

As for Aniston’s portrait, the highest bid currently stands at $6,500.
