Jennifer Aniston Praised Brad Pitt After Split But Called Angelina Jolie ‘Uncool’

Jennifer Aniston had an amicable split with Brad Pitt.

Aniston’s second ex-husband Justin Theroux said that they had the “most gentle separation.” But as it turns out Aniston’s split with Pitt was the same even if some of their followers took their breakup against Pitt because he was spotted with Angelina Jolie shortly after their divorce. In fact, Aniston had nothing but praises to her ex-husband after their separation.

“The marriage didn’t work out. And pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we’ve been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other,” Aniston said.

She also shared how they exchanged kind hellos and warm wishes to each other. She even congratulated him for his babies.

“I have nothing but absolute admiration for him, and…I’m proud of him! I think he’s really done some amazing things. It never was that bad.”

Aniston has maintained her friendship with Pitt. This year, the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star attended her 50th birthday bash. Pitt was also present at Aniston’s holiday party a few weeks ago. An insider said that Pitt was the first- and second-to-the-last guest to leave Aniston’s home.

While Aniston and Pitt were able to keep their friendship, she had a different opinion about Jolie. When Aniston learned that the “Maleficent” star boasted about getting close with Pitt on the set of “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” in the summer of 2004, she did not hide her disappointment because back then, she and Pitt were still married.

Aniston said that what Jolie shared about getting excited to work with Pitt was “inappropriate.” The “Murder Mystery” star added that “that was really uncool.”

However, Aniston has since moved on from the issue. In fact, she made an effort to end the rivalry between her and Jolie by praising the latter’s movie “Unbroken.” She said that Jolie made a “gorgeous job” in that film.
