  • Jennifer Aniston said she hopes to be with a "fantastic partner"
  • Marriage is "not on my radar" at the moment, according to the actress
  • Aniston suggested that she is open to dating someone who is not in the entertainment industry

Jennifer Aniston hopes to find love again but is not open to the idea of getting married for a third time.

While promoting the second season of her Apple TV+ series "The Morning Show" on "People (The TV Show!)," Aniston, 52, was asked about the topics of dating and marriage. The "Friends" alum revealed that she's prioritizing being with a "fantastic partner" at this point in her life.

"It's not on my radar," she said of marriage. "I'm interested in finding a fantastic partner and just living an enjoyable life and having fun with one another. That's all we should hope for. It doesn't have to be etched in stone in legal documents."

Aniston was previously married to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005. Years after their split, the actress moved on with Justin Theroux, whom she married in 2015. She and the "Leftovers" star divorced two years later.

When asked during the interview if she believed relationships between public figures and non-public figures could work, Aniston gave a positive response and suggested that her next relationship may not necessarily be with someone who is in the entertainment industry.

"I mean, it's happened," the actress explained. "That's what I'm sort of hoping for is not necessarily somebody in the industry itself. That'd be nice."

Aniston was last romantically linked to her "Friends" co-star David Schwimmer. However, both stars have since denied the dating rumors.

The dating speculations came after Aniston and Schwimmer admitted in the "Friends" reunion special in May that they had a crush on each other in the early seasons of the show.

However, Schwimmer, who played Ross Geller on the comedy series, explained that "it was like two ships passing because one of us was always in a relationship and we never crossed that boundary. We respected that."

The Rachel Green actress added, "Honestly, I remember saying one time to David, 'It's going to be such a bummer if the first time you and I actually kiss is going to be on national television.' Sure enough, first time we kissed was in that coffee shop."

Nowadays, Aniston said she is focusing on her work, her friends and her pets: schnauzer mix Clyde, pit-bull mix Sophie and newly rescued Great Pyrenees mix Lord Chesterfield.

"I'm in a really peaceful place. I have a job that I love, I have people in my life who are everything to me, and I have beautiful dogs," she said in a previous interview, as per People. "I'm just a very fortunate and blessed human being."

"The Morning Show" Season 2 premieres on Apple TV+ this Friday.
