Jennifer Aniston Says She's Ready To Date Again: 'I Think It's Time'
Jennifer Aniston thinks it’s about time she starts dating again. Earlier this week, the “Friends” star told Bruce Bozzi on Sirius XM’s “Radio Andy” that she is ready to be in a relationship again despite enjoying single life.
“No one of importance has hit my radar yet but I think it’s time,” she told Bozzi. “I think I’m ready to share myself with another.”
During her guesting, the 52-year-old actress revealed that she has been in relationships since she was 20 so she enjoyed her time as a single woman in her 50s. “I didn’t want to date for a long time and I loved really being my own woman without being a part of a couple,” she said, adding: “I’ve been part of a couple since I was 20 so there was something really nice about taking the time.”
Aniston went on to reveal that she’s more of an “old school girl,” saying she doesn’t believe in finding love through dating apps such as Tinder or Raya. “People don’t come up to people anymore. They don’t do that. It’s weird,” she said.
"The Morning Show" star said that a first kiss is “pretty important” and plays a “huge factor” in deciding on compatibility. But she added that she looks for certain character traits when searching for a potential partner.
“The ease at which the conversation flows the first time, that’s kind of a good indicator,” she said, adding: “Confidence, but not a cocky-ness. Humor, please, I beg of you. Generous, kind to people. You know, very few necessities required.”
Aniston also revealed she appreciates men who live a healthy lifestyle. “I think fitness is important and not just about how you look but I want to be around here for a long time and not be in a wheelchair when I’m 80,” she said.
Earlier this month, the actress said she’s looking to date someone outside of Hollywood. She was previously married to Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux and linked to Vince Vaughn, Bradley Cooper, John Mayer and Gerard Butler.
