Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s divorce has been the subject of rumors from the time the two announced they were divorcing. Since then, reports have said that the two were reconciling but neither of the actors confirmed the news. According to the latest issue of OK! magazine, Affleck planned a dinner date for Garner to win her back.

“Jennifer was wearing heels and a tight black dress; she looked gorgeous, and Ben was being very gentlemanly; helping her with her coat, pulling out her chair,” a source told the magazine, according to Hollywood Life, which cited the article. “It was the epitome of romance from start to finish,” the insider added, saying that Affleck carefully planned the date to impress his estranged wife.

“[Affleck] believes they’re soul mates. He realized he’d made a monumental mistake and needed to do everything he could to prove himself to Jen. Jen misses Ben, and the way he’s acting has opened her eyes to the new and improved life they can have together,” the source reportedly said.

The two spent their Valentine’s Day in Montana along with their three children. Previous reports said that Garner and Affleck have put their divorce on hold and were planning to work on their troubled marriage. However, according to latest reports, the two are not getting back together. Garner and Affleck were reported to have celebrated their first Christmas post split in Montana instead of their home in Los Angeles.
