Jennifer Garner, Bradley Cooper Just 'Friends' Despite Beach Sighting, John Miller Split

Jennifer Garner and Bradley Cooper are just friends despite their beach outing with his daughter earlier this week.

Garner and Cooper sparked dating rumors after they were spotted having a fun-filled day at a beach in Malibu on Wednesday with the actor’s 3-year-old daughter, Lea De Seine, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk. However, an insider has confirmed in a new report that the "Alias" co-stars’ relationship is strictly platonic despite both of them now being single.

"They are friends and have been forever," the insider told Us Weekly.

Garner's split from John Miller, whom she dated for almost two years, was confirmed shortly after her beach outing with Cooper. However, a source told Entertainment Tonight that they had been separated for several months prior to the news coming out.

"Jen and John called it quits several months ago. They've remained friends. They just started seeing less and less of each other and finally called it quits," the source told ET. "She has nothing negative to say about John; they just seemed to drift apart. She says he was an amazing stepping stone in her life."

Garner remains focused on raising her three children with ex-husband Ben Affleck — Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, 8. The "Miracles from Heaven" actress' priorities also include her career and spending time with those who make her happy.

Us Weekly's source, however, claimed that the separation happened because Garner wasn’t ready to take her relationship with Miller to the next level.

"He was ready for marriage and she just couldn’t commit," the insider said. “They parted on very amicable terms."

As for Garner and Cooper’s relationship, the two have been friends for almost two decades. In fact, prior to the beach outing, the former co-stars have been meeting up, bringing along their significant others when they hang out.

In March last year, Cooper enjoyed dinner at Garner's home with then-girlfriend Shayk and their daughter. His mom was also in attendance at the small gathering, People reported.

Meanwhile, Twitter users appeared to be confused as to who the woman spotted with Cooper at the beach actually was when the photos first surfaced. While some were convinced that it was Garner who was on an outing with the actor, others believed that it was Shayk.

"It’s not. It’s his ex girlfriend and mother of his daughter," one person commented on an image of Garner and Cooper together.

"That’s irina! Why y’all trying to stir the pot ???" another netizen wrote.

"Open the pics. It’s not irina," a third person replied.
