Jennifer Garner On How She And Ben Affleck Adapted To Paparazzi
Jennifer Garner opened up about what it was like to raise her kids with Ben Affleck while being surrounded by the paparazzi all the time. The actress wrote about how she and her ex husband had to adapt to the situation in a recent magazine piece.
Garner discussed the issue of raising the kids while being in the spotlight in a piece for the WSJ Magazine’s March Women’s Style Issue. The main theme of the article was about how she had to adapt to being surrounded by the paparazzi all the time.
Garner wrote that being a person who is well known required an “enormous adaption” on her side. She has a career that she described as being a “very selfish one,” and she also had to raise her kids with Affleck.
Affleck and Garner share three kids together: 13-year-old Violet, 10-year-old Seraphina and 6-year-old Samuel. Some of the issues that Garner had to face had to do with balancing her career with the family. She asked herself how her job affected her family, and what she could ask of her partner and her family. She had to choose between what was worth it and what wasn’t.
The combination of career demands, family obligations, and living with little privacy forced the two actors to adapt to the situation. Garner wrote in her piece that she and Affleck often had discussions about how they have to adapt.
Garner and Affleck finalized their divorce in October last year. Garner has been dating Cali Group CEO John Miller.
Meanwhile, Affleck has started talking to his ex, Lindsay Shookus, Entertainment Tonight reported. A source has reportedly revealed that the two are just friends. The top priority for Affleck is still family and children, according to this source.
Garner on the other hand has been engaging with her fans on social media. In a recent Instagram post, the actress shared a funny video about what life is like while travelling without kids.
