Jennifer Garner ‘Not Happy’ With Ben Affleck’s Relationship With Girlfriend Lindsay Shookus?
Jennifer Garner is reportedly not pleased that her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, has moved on with another woman.
A source told People that news about Affleck’s relationship with Lindsay Shookus has not been easy to absorb for the actress. “It’s not an easy situation for Jen. She knew it would happen soon. Ben just can’t be alone,” the source said.
Despite Affleck and Shookus’ relationship only making headlines recently, another source said that the two had been previously linked to each other in 2013. According to the publication, Affleck and the “Saturday Night Live” producer had an affair four years ago. But it was only in 2015 that Garner found out about it.

However, friends of Affleck and Shookus clarified to the publication that the two were just friends and only became a couple after they divorced their respective partners. Shookus was previously married to fellow “Saturday Night Live” producer Kevin Miller. They divorced in 2014.
Another insider said that Garner couldn’t care less about Affleck’s budding relationship with Shookus. After all, the 45-year-old actress has already moved on from him even before their divorce was filed in April. “Of course there are issues given it was a major affair, but Jen is her own woman and is completely fine. Nothing is new for her here. She’s in mama bear mode… putting the kids’ happiness first,” the insider said.
Meanwhile, there are some rumors suggesting that Shookus left Miller for Affleck. Since their divorce happened in 2014, this could mean that Affleck and Shookus already knew each other at the time. “She was married and had a baby and left her husband to be with Ben,” a source told US Weekly.
The same insider said that Shookus traveled to Los Angeles frequently so she could spend time with Affleck at the time when the latter was still married and living with Garner.
Garner and Affleck announced their decision to split in June 2015 via a joint statement. “After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time,” they said.
