Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are reportedly at odds lately.

A source told Fox News, that there’s a brewing tension between Lopez and Rodriguez. The source said that this may prevent the couple from eventually tying the knot.

“Friends have seen them argue frequently. There’s a lot of passion in their relationship, which helps and hurts the pair — especially when their personalities clash because you just know a blowup is about to ensue,” the source said.

“As much as their friends love seeing Alex and J.Lo together as royalty, there is great fear that the tension between them may prevent them from ever making it down the aisle.”

The tension was reportedly due to Rodriguez’s response in an interview when he shared his table interaction with Kylie Jenner at the 2019 Met Gala. He said that the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star was talking about her lipstick, Instagram and how rich she is.

Kylie denied it and tweeted that they only talked about “Game of Thrones.” Rodriguez responded to Kylie’s post and wrote, “OMG that’s right @KylieJenner !! It was me talking about you and your makeup line and how much my girls love you. #GOT #respect #alllove.”

Lopez was reportedly not happy with what Rodriguez did because “she expected him to know better.” Despite the report, fans should take those claims with a grain of salt.

Sources close to Lopez and Rodriguez said that the tension was “completely false.” Also, the couple is reportedly “better than ever.”

Just last week, the “World of Dance” judge shared a sweet clip of her and Rodriguez working out together. In one scene, they were seen kissing each other.

Lopez and Rodriguez announced their engagement in March. In her “Making The It’s My Party Tour: Showtime” YouTube video, the performer opened up about her relationship with the former baseball player. According to the “Maid in Manhattan” star, they’ve been on for three years and when pressed when their wedding will be, she said that it will happen “soon” before adding that it’s not too soon but next year, Harper’s Bazaar reported.

Prior to Rodriguez, Lopez was with Drake but their romance only lasted for two months. Meanwhile, Rodriguez was with Silicon Valley CEO Anne Wojcicki for less than a year.
