After following BTS’ official Twitter account in July, Jennifer Lopez has once again thrilled global fanbase “ARMY.” JLo reposted a Tiktok video from music producer Carneyval who did a mashup of her recent hit “Cambia El Paso” with BTS’ “Permission to Dance.”

Lopez collaborated with Puerto Rican rapper Rauw Alejandro for the song “Cambia El Paso.” Released in July, the song has already reached over 17 Million views on the singer’s official YouTube account.

She also reposted a Tiktok video of choreographer Sienna Lalau dancing to the mashup. Lalau choreographed BTS’ dance moves for the songs, “Dionysus” and “ON.” Lopez tagged BTS’ official Twitter account in her post which made fans even more excited for a possible project between the two superstars.

Fans of the K-pop superstars immediately took to Twitter to express their clamor for a suspected collaboration between Lopez and BTS.

“The QUEEN commenting herself!! Ya’ll is this a hint?' BTS x J.Lo collab is coming Pls @BTS_twt @BIGHIT_MUSIC @JLo make this come true !!!,” a fan said.

“Omg @BTS_twt x @JLo it’s like my childhood meeting my adulthood AND WITH @sienna_lalau we’ve been bless,” another fan commented.

In July, Lopez and BTS began following each other on Twitter, following which fans immediately suspected that collaborative work between the musicians is up ahead. Some even guessed that the famous septet may sing a Spanish song with Lopez.

In their online concert in June, “BTS 2021 MUSTER Sowoozoo,” BTS'J-Hope and Jimin sang the Spanish part in the song “Chicken Noodle Soup.” The Spanish part of the song was originally done by Mexican American singer Becky G. The tune was her first collaboration with J-Hope in 2019.

In November 2020, Lopez posted an Instagram clip where she and her children, twins Emme and Maximilian jammed to BTS’ “Dynamite” during a quarantine thanksgiving live stream dance party.

“Dynamite” is BTS’ first all-English song that made it to the top of Billboard Hot 100 in September 2020.

In April, it was removed by Billboard due to a chart rule which says, if a song spends more than 20 weeks on the list and falls to No. 50, it is forcibly taken off the tally.
