Jennifer Lopez Calls Alex Rodriguez’s Daughter Tashi ‘Loving, Beautiful, Artistic Soul’
Jennifer Lopez recently paid a sweet tribute to her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez’s daughter, Tashi, on her 13th birthday.
On her Instagram account, Lopez expressed her love for Tashi and called her a “loving, beautiful, artistic soul.” In the photo, Rodriguez’s lookalike is seen with her eyes closed. Lopez has developed a close relationship with her boyfriend’s daughters, and Rodriguez has also bonded with his girlfriend’s 9-year-old twins, Max and Emme.
Last summer, all four kids lounged by the pool with their respective parents. A couple of weeks ago, Lopez also spent time with Tashi and Ella, 9, at her show in Las Vegas. Rodriguez shared an Instagram video of his 13-year-old singing and dancing to one of Lopez’s songs.
While speaking with People, the former New York Yankee revealed that his daughters see his girlfriend as the “Messiah.” “She is such a great role model. They look at her like she’s the Messiah. When they’re in Las Vegas, I don’t think they leave Jennifer’s side,” he said.
Rodriguez also shared that his daughters get to help Lopez dress up during her live performances. “My girls essentially hit the lottery. What 12-year-old and 9-year-old wouldn’t feel like, ‘Oh my God, I’m the luckiest human being on the planet? They’re super thrilled,” he said.
But Lopez and Rodriguez actually think they are the lucky ones for meeting each other and deciding to stay committed to each other. In an interview with Vanity Fair, the couple acknowledged the fact that they are similar in a lot of ways.
“I understand him in a way that I don’t think anyone else could, and he understands me in a way that no one else could ever. In his 20s, he came into big success with the biggest baseball contract at the time. I had a No. 1 movie and a No. 1 album and made history. We both had ups and downs and challenges in our 30s, and by our 40s we’d both been through so much. And more importantly than anything, we had both done a lot of work on ourselves,” she said.
