Jennifer Lopez Impressed With Boyfriend Alex Rodriguez's Skills In New Instagram Video

Jennifer Lopez recently gushed over boyfriend Alex Rodriguez's batting skills.

On Instagram, Lopez shared a new video of Rodriguez swinging a baseball bat and hitting an incoming ball perfectly, with the snow-covered New York City serving as his backdrop. The former professional athlete was dressed in a jacket with the logo of his old team New York Yankees, black pants and matching trainers.

In the caption, Lopez praised her boyfriend, calling his swing "sweet." She also expressed her love for New York, saying that she misses the city. Her Instagram post has received 2.6 million likes and thousands of comments within just a day.

Lopez's new social media post comes amid reports of the singer's collaboration with Joanna Gaines. The singer-actress is apparently teaming up with the "Fixer Upper" star for the renovation of her $6.6 million dollar Malibu mansion. Last week, the two were photographed checking out the house, with cameras following them.

Lopez previously opened up about her plans to fix up her property when she made an appearance on "The Ellen Show." She also revealed how she managed to get Gaines to help her out despite the highly sought-after designer not usually taking on projects outside of her home in Texas.

"We actually got a little fixer-upper next to the water and we were like, 'Oh we gotta fix this up.' It's really a house that needs work," Lopez said. "I was like, 'Wouldn't it be amazing to have her do it for us?' But she doesn't do anything outside of Waco. Like, nothing."

"And then comes our anniversary... [Alex] goes, 'I want you to go to this meeting with us for the architect for the house,'" she recalled. "And I was like, 'OK, great.' And he opens up FaceTime and it's Joanna Gaines. And I was like, 'Are you kidding? Hi!'"

At the time, Lopez didn't think Gaines would be able to travel to Malibu and take on the job, but it seems things are going smoothly for the singer and A-Rod's renovation plans. The couple is now trying to figure out how to combine their varying tastes, with Lopez preferring a cozy interior and Rodriguez leaning more on modern design.
