Jennifer Lopez, Lenny Kravitz Develop Close Bond Amid Alex Rodriguez Split Rumors

Jennifer Lopez seemingly fueled the breakup rumors involving her and Alex Rodriguez even more when she was spotted spending some time with Lenny Kravitz.

Kravitz, 56, and Lopez, 51, are currently working together for an upcoming movie entitled “Shotgun Wedding.” While the two are keeping it professional on their Dominican Republic set, they appear to be getting close with each other off-cam, according to New York Post.

The two have developed a tight bond that Lopez even gifted her daughter Emme with guitar lessons from Kravitz himself. The “On The Floor” hitmaker has also made it known that she’s a big fan of the musician-actor as she recorded a clip of her dancing seductively to the latter’s hit song “Fly Away.” She even shared the video on Instagram and tagged Kravitz.

While Lopez is busy working on her project with Kravitz, Rodriguez, 45, is staying in Miami. Page Six exclusively revealed Friday that the two have called off their engagement. The singer-actress and the former baseball player started dating in 2017, and they officially got engaged in 2019.

When the COVID-19 pandemic started, the two stars decided to quarantine together with their kids. But things started to take a different turn in the recent months. Lopez even openly talked about them undergoing therapy while in quarantine in February. At the time, she said that “it was really helpful for us in our relationship.”

Rodriguez has been mum amid the split rumors. As for the “Maid in Manhattan” star, she also acknowledged the reports about them by sharing some of the headlines in a video she posted on Instagram that she captioned, “Sunday brunch playlist.”

On Saturday, Lopez and Rodriguez finally opted to address the rumors by releasing a statement through a representative. “All the reports are inaccurate. We are working through some things,” their statement read.

Their statement was pretty vague about their current relationship status. A source close to the couple admitted that they are also not sure if the two are still together. Nonetheless, the source said that both are willing to sort out things for the better.

“They are trying to work through things… but it’s unclear if that means they are staying together,” the source told Page Six in a separate report.
