Jennifer Lopez: A Look Inside Her 5 Engagements
Jennifer Lopez’s relationship status is making headlines after rumors of a split between her and her fiance Aaron Rodrigez floated around the media.
Throughout the last two decades, the pop-singer, dancer and actress has had many quick flings, as well as engagements and a few marriages. She and A-Rod have been engaged since 2019 and have had to postpone their destination wedding twice because of COVID-19.
While the world waits to find out what’s really going on between the two and what their official plans are after they take some time apart, here’s a look into all of her engagements since 1997:
Ojani Noa
This was J.Lo’s first engagement which turned into her first marriage as well in 1997. Noa was a waiter at the time, but was working on becoming something in the fine arts department. The marriage only lasted 11 months before the couple split.
Cris Judd
Judd was a dancer and choreographer who met J.Lo in 2000 while in Spain. The two got engaged between late 2000 and 2001 when they got married. This marriage only lasted until 2002 due to the stresses of the paparazzi in their relationship, according to Women’s Health.
Ben Affleck
The two met while on set for the film, “Gigli,” in 2001, according to Page Six. While they got engaged in 2002, they postponed their 2003 wedding just days before the ceremony and eventually broke up in 2004.
Marc Anthony
These long-time friends decided to get engaged and married the same year the “Jenny on the Block” singer split from Affleck, Distractify reported. This was her longest relationship, but ended in 2011 and officially divorced in 2014. The two share a set of twins, Emme and Max.
Alex Rodriguez
The former baseball player is her most recent engagement that found itself in turmoil this week after rumors of him messaging “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy, which turned out to be false, according to A-Rod. While the couple is taking a break, they aren’t calling it quits US Magazine reported.
